Bridge Northumberland Advice Worker
Citizens Advice Northumberland offers free and confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person. We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem. We help with everything from money issues to problems at work, housing to consumer rights.
Led by Northumberland County Council, Bridge Northumberland works with people who face the biggest barriers and challenges, no matter what, to connecting or reconnecting with education, training, volunteering and work. Working together with a number of partners, each organisation has been handpicked to deliver the project based on their varied specialisms working with people and communities with financial issues, mental health issues, building employment skills, volunteering among many more.
Citizens Advice Northumberland is looking for an adviser to provide advice and some casework in all aspects of money management and in particular welfare benefits to clients referred to the Citizens Advice service through Bridge Northumberland.
Salary: £19,733 to £24,102 pro rata depending on experience
Hours: 22 Hours
Closing date: Friday 21st May 9.00am
Interview date: Thursday 27th May
Location: This is a county wide position and travel across Northumberland will be expected.
