Welfare Benefits Supervising Senior Caseworker

the phone and in person. We give people the knowledge and the confidence
they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their
problem.

Our service supports people who face every kind of barrier and challenge to
social and/or financial inclusion, and we help them to find the solution to their
issue(s) and to find a way forward that works for them.

Citizens Advice Northumberland is at an exciting time in its history as we come
through the Covid19 pandemic having supported over 20,000 Northumberland
residents. Our service is never more needed than now and as a result, we have
created a new division housing all of our welfare benefits services.

We are looking to recruit a Welfare Benefits Supervising Senior Caseworker to
deliver second tier support and technical supervision for staff and volunteers
delivering welfare benefits advice, and a case work service to provide an
escalation for complex cases.

Vacancy Details

Salary:                   £24,457 to £27,176 pro rata depending on experience 

Hours:                   22.5 hours per week

Location:             This role can be based in any of our main offices and will require some                                                                                                                                                               travel across Northumberland and some home working if required.
