At a time when the cost of living is affecting everyone, working out if people are getting their correct benefit entitlement is more crucial than ever. Universal Credit migration is continuing and moving on to this benefit may cause problems for those with complex needs.
Northumberland County Council’s Welfare Rights Unit and Public Health department, together with Thriving Together, is running a one day course that will enable you to spot potential benefit entitlement, support people with their claims, and know who to contact in the DWP.
If benefits are a mystery to you, this course will clear the mist.
