VCS Liaison
Meeting with elected members, senior council officers and Thriving Together to discuss the issues, opportunities and challenges facing the third sector. Agenda items are gathered from the Thriving Together network leads meeting and feedback received from the sector. Thriving Together facilitates and supports representatives from VCSE organisations to attend the meeting and present on issues whilst ensuring the appropriate Northumberland County Council officers are present to hear the sector’s views and work together to progress challenges.
Previous meetings have included topics such as community transport, community building leases and social value in procurement.
