On Friday 26 June 2026 (10am–5pm UK time) Forward Assist is once again partnering with sleep and dream specialist Charlie Morley to deliver a free, online, one-day workshop: Mindfulness of Dream & Sleep: for Stress or Trauma Affected Sleep and I’d be very grateful if you could help us put it in front of the veterans and serving personnel in your network.
It’s open to charity and voluntary sector workers, veterans and serving military from any country and is particularly aimed at people whose sleep has been affected by trauma in service, including Military Sexual Trauma (MST). It’s delivered over Zoom, completely free of charge, and is fully trauma-sensitive, our participants are never asked to talk about their trauma, and they’re welcome to keep cameras off the whole day.
Charlie originally developed the protocol for British military veterans. Independent Churchill Fellowship analysis of previous cohorts found:
Across the day Charlie covers the science of sleep cycles, the neuroscience of trauma, yoga nidra and hypnagogic mindfulness, coherent breathing and chi gong, transforming nightmares, and an introduction to lucid dreaming for trauma integration.
