Creating local partnership networks for collaboration, sharing successes, and addressing concerns

Health and Wellbeing

The Northumberland Health and Wellbeing VCFSE Network meets online every month to create a welcoming space where members can talk about their concerns, priorities, and the best ways to provide services. By working together, the group helps members understand changes happening in the health sector and opportunities for future projects. They also make sure that both government and community organisations have a chance to share their ideas and influence decisions. Plus, they’re always looking to build new connections and work together on projects. If you want to join or learn more, contact Susan Eaton at susan.eaton@northumberlandcva.org.uk.

Equality Diversion and Inclusion

The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Network is actively seeking partnerships and members. The group collaborates to promote positive relationships through our actions and behaviors, ensuring inclusivity in our work environments. We prioritise open communication, listening to each other’s needs, and supporting inclusive practices. From funding and transparency to recruitment and staff engagement, we aim to identify areas needing attention, improvement, and learning regarding EDI. We integrate EDI into our organisational strategies, policies, and meeting agendas. To join the network or learn more, please contact Mahnoor at mahnoor@being-woman.org.uk.

Connecting Culture

The Connecting Culture Network invites voluntary and community sector organisations impacting cultural activities in the county to join us as we discuss relevant cultural issues, incorporate audience preferences from research, exchange insights from the Northumberland Cultural Strategic Network, connect with county-wide initiatives, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
