The DWP Disability Services Advocacy Team are providing upskilling sessions focusing on Special Educational Needs Schools, Colleges and organisations who are supporting students with Disability Services benefits and grants. There are two sessions in February - click to find booking link
This workshop will look at DBS eligibility; and in particular what to do when DBS ID validation routes cannot be used. This would be useful for organisations who support those seeking asylum and refugees into volunteering opportunities; as well as any organisations who support people into volunteering placements when the typical ID routes cannot be utilised.
