Family Learning Project

This exciting new initiative funded by the North East Combined Authority is designed to tackle persistent gaps in adult literacy, numeracy and digital skills across rural and high-deprivation areas in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and County Durham

The programme offers free, flexible and hands-on support. By learning together, parents and children can build practical skills, boost home learning confidence and open doors to new opportunities. Delivered face-to-face in comfortable, local spaces such as schools, nurseries, family hubs and community centres, the programme brings adults and children together to learn as a team.
