Citizens Advice national Families, Welfare and Work team has published a short report on disability benefits, to ensure the people we support are represented in the pre and post-election conversation around reform in this area.
It presents key insights from the data we collect when supporting disabled people and people with long-term health problems. The report argues that the disability benefits system is broken.
By learning from what people are telling us about the system’s failings, we begin to outline a better way forward that, we hope, the next government will take seriously.
