- Prudhoe Veterans Club launched the new Veterans Hub in Prudhoe, this is a safe space for veterans and blue light services, family and friends to come to.
- Northumbria Healthcare Travel Scheme Helen met with Ellen Downs from Northumbria Healthcare to discuss their healthcare travel scheme available and how Thriving Together can help to spread the word about this.
- Vonne Lunch & Learn Webinar: Digital Support for Social Prescribing, Helen and Nicola Duffy (Programme Director) were asked to present a talk about Northumberland Frontline and how it has been used in Northumberland by Vonne.
- Cramlington 2025 Film Premiere – Helen went along to the film premiere documenting the remarkable transformation of our community over the past five years. Showing at the Vue Cinema in Cramlington and followed by an after party at Cramlington Working Men’s Social Club, where Helen had a stall, with Bernica and Blyth CVA.
- Northumberland Holiday Provision – Helen attended a workshop on Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) Provision for 2025 at Linden Hall. It was a great networking opportunity to meet lots of organisations across the county who work with young people and learn about the changes to HAF Provision in 2025.
- Amble Veterans Breakfast Club, Helen met up with Craig and Maggie from Amble Veterans Breakfast Club. They meet every 3rd Saturday of the month at The Amble Inn at 10am.
- Sea Breeze Wellbeing CIC, Helen met up with Mika and Sheila from Sea Breeze Wellbeing CIC who run activities in Newbiggin. They have a Holistic Health & Wellbeing Fayre coming up on Sunday 6th April 2025, 11am to 3pm at WI Hall, Newbiggin by the Sea.
- Northumberland Employability Network – Helen attended the Northumberland Employability Network meeting held at Newbiggin Sports and Community Centre.
- Tweedmouth and Spittal Connected, Helen attended a meeting at Spittal Community Centre for Tweedmouth and Spittal Connected
- Helen attended the online launch of Mind the Gap by the Health and Wellbeing Network
- Helen went to the Northumberland Village Hall Week event at Stannington Village Hall run by Community Action Northumberland. The topic this year was around volunteering and was a fantastic event.
- North Seaton Community Centre, Helen met up with volunteers from North Seaton Community Centre and is supporting them.
- Northumberland Green Hub, Helen attended the March meeting in Alnwick for Northumberland Green Hub, which had speakers from Coquet River Action Group (CRAG), Bullfield Community Orchard in Alnwick, Felton Climate and Nature Group, a local farmer about Farming diversity.
- Wansbeck Valley Food Bank, Helen attended the AGM for Wansbeck Valley Food Bank and heard about the fantastic work they are doing
- Helen and Maria attended the High Sheriff Awards event at Alnwick Playhouse, they saw the fantastic groups from across Northumberland who work with young people and a lot of them are volunteers. Alexander Armstrong was the guest speaker. It was a great event and great to see organisations being celebrated.
- Bacmans Community Ltd – Helen visited Christine and Bob at Bacmans Community Limited based in Lynemouth. They work with people from Lynemouth, Ellington and Linton villages, offering support for IT, Employability support, Holiday Clubs and general community support
- Vision Northumberland is holding an Information and Equipment Day on March 28th, 10am to 2pm at Vision Northumberland, Morpeth. Helen will have a stall at the event and looks forward to seeing many people.
