Northumberland County Council has recently launched its engagement process around a new Local Plan. Shaping the Local Plan to reflect the priorities within Northumberland Economic Strategy. Local Nature Recovery Strategy and the needs of our rural communities is really important as the Local Plan will become the framework through which decisions around environmental, social and economic infrastructure are made for years to come.
As a member of the Rural Economy Forum and a key strategic partner, we’re inviting you to share your thoughts. Many of you on the Rural Economy Forum also represent other organisations, communities or networks. The Local Plan engagement is open to individuals and organisations, so we would kindly encourage you to share the engagement with your networks so we can capture the voices of our rural communities.
