Carers Rights Day is on Thursday 21st November. Carers Northumberland will be hosting an Information Event at Morpeth Town Hall, 2pm – 4.30pm.
The day is an annual event that aims to raise awareness of the rights and needs of unpaid carers, and to ensure that they receive the support and entitlements they are entitled to.
The main aim of the session is to provide essential information about the migration process from Universal Credit, what steps need to be taken, and what assistance is available for those who may struggle with the transition.
Part of the EDI Network, “Essential Conversations” is aimed at fostering dialogue and sharing insights on crucial topics related to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Download the second edition here.
