The event is open to any organisation who work or link with Veterans or would like to be part of the Veterans Network. It is an opportunity to network with others from other Veteran organisations from across Northumberland and the North East. We welcome National Organisations though the heart of the network will be the Northumberland Veteran groups.
Carers Rights Day is on Thursday 21st November. Carers Northumberland will be hosting an Information Event at Morpeth Town Hall, 2pm – 4.30pm.
The day is an annual event that aims to raise awareness of the rights and needs of unpaid carers, and to ensure that they receive the support and entitlements they are entitled to.
The main aim of the session is to provide essential information about the migration process from Universal Credit, what steps need to be taken, and what assistance is available for those who may struggle with the transition.
Part of the EDI Network, “Essential Conversations” is aimed at fostering dialogue and sharing insights on crucial topics related to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Download the second edition here.

The courses are free of charge and open to everyone 16 years or older. There is no upper age limit. All the courses are for a 6 week duration and run on a weekly basis. All the details are in the attached brochure.
