Volunteers’ Week was first established in 1984 and it’s celebrated on the first Monday in June every year. This year we are celebrating from Monday 3 to Sunday 9 June.
Volunteers’ Week is about thanking those who give up their time to make a difference and celebrating the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK.
You can follow the updates of the organisers on Volunteers’ Week.
This year is also the 85th anniversary of Citizens Advice as well as 40 years of Volunteers’ Week. It’s a chance to recognise the fantastic contribution of our volunteers across Citizens Advice Northumberland and say thank you!
You can watch our Volunteers Thank You from Abi Conway, Chief Executive here.
