Welcome to our monthly newsletter with updates on what we have coming up at Northumberland Recovery College. We have information on a few Christmas sessions and also attached the core timetable for all of Northumberland, containing all NRC sessions and online.
New Year New Sessions
- Coping Strategies – this online session will start on 19th January Monday 1.00 – 2.30, it will be a block of 6 sessions with different topic each week, no flyer yet as it is so hot of the press!
- Level Headers Football Group in Blyth….. watch this space for more information!
Session Updates…
- Morpeth Café Connect – due to continuing lack of students this group is no longer running
- All About ADHD Online group – unfortunately this group will be ending in December while we find a new facilitator, we are also looking at running the new group in blocks of sessions so we can reach out to more people
- Embracing Emotions online group – we are redesigning this group and it will become a block of 8 sessions in the new year which will repeat on an 8 week basis
- Guided Imagery online – we are currently not providing this session on a Wednesday, it continues on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s
- The Café Connect and She Shares in Berwick are currently not running due to a problem with the venue and recruitment of a volunteer to support the facilitator
- Happiness and Meditation and Crafty Craic Groups in Ashington is currently not running due to the unavailability of the facilitators

Craft and Chat in Blyth – the usual session on 18th December is a Christmas special and we are encouraging new students to come along to this group – flyer attached.

All NRC sessions are free for adults (18+) who live or work in Northumberland. Upcoming sessions can all be found on the ‘What’s on’ page on our website, and our weekly timetables can be found on our website.
