Northumberland County Council are currently looking to understand more about people’s mental health needs and how well these are being met by local services. As part of this project, we are looking to speak with rural communities and those involved in farming and agriculture in Northumberland to better understand their lived experiences of mental health challenges, support systems, and areas for improvement, including any positive or negative experiences of accessing mental health support.
Farming and Rural Communities Mental Health Survey – Have Your Say Northumberland – Citizen Space
All responses will be anonymised but may be included in a final report termed a ‘Mental Health Needs Assessment’, which will be published on Northumberland County Council’s Joint Strategic Needs and Assets Assessment website. There will be an option at the end to provide an email address if you wish to be contacted for a follow-up interview to discuss this topic in more depth, but this is not required to complete the form.
We would like to hear from anyone who lives rurally or is involved in farming and agriculture, regardless of whether you have needed to access mental health services or not, as we want to understand as much as we can about your mental health needs and whether they are being met.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
