The Northumberland VCSE Mental Health Alliance is delighted to be contacting you with a new funding opportunity for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working within Northumberland. This fund will allocate small grants of between £500 to £10,000 to support the development of existing or emerging ideas and offers that benefit adults with serious mental illness, to come together and participate in either individual or group activity that will enhance their wellbeing.
We actively encourage applications from VCSE organisations that have a passion for supporting people who work in rural industries such as fishing and farming communities. We are also keen to hear from smaller grassroots groups and organisations. You do not need to have expert knowledge in the field of mental health, but rather a willingness to support people who live in our community and might be having a tough time with their mental health.
Organisations that were awarded funding in 2023 through the VCSE MH Alliance are eligible to apply to diversify a successful project, however, this is not recurring funding.
The closing date for this round of applications is 18th March 2024. The decision panel will convene week commencing 25th March 2024. Applicants will be notified week commencing 1st April 2024.
